Biography

Xueying is a PhD research student and a teaching assistant at the University of Cambridge. She finished her MRes in Future Infrastructure and Built Environment at University of Cambridge; MSc in General Structural Engineering at Imperial College London; and BEng in Civil and Structural Engineering at City University of Hong Kong and UCL. Xueying is also a Grand Challenge Scholar of the National Academy of Engineering (NAE) (USA).

Xueying's current research collaborates with National Highways and focuses on carbon-nanomaterial based self-sensing smart roads. She is supervised by Prof. Stuart Haigh and co-supervised by Prof. Abir Al-Tabbaa.
