Title:  Delivering sustainable infrastructure

Abstract:   As global warming and population growth puts greater pressure on our infrastructure systems, how can we deliver ever more complex projects? Ele will talk about her journey from Cambridge civil engineering graduate to geotechnical engineer to design manager, where she currently delivers multi-disciplinary projects for a range of government and private sector clients. Her talk will focus on the key sustainability challenges she's tackled in her career, spanning across transport, flood risk management and water network improvements.
